After a 29-year career in banking, I joined the Aesthetic Dentistry of Charlottesville family in December 2010 as the office receptionist. The position allowed me the pleasure of greeting our patients upon arrival and getting to know them. In August 2011, I transitioned into the position of Insurance Coordinator. In my spare time, I love spending time with family and friends, reading, going to the beach, and anything that gets me closer to nature. One of the things that brings me the most pleasure is feeding and watching God’s animals (birds, squirrels, deer, raccoons, bear, foxes, and turkeys) through the windows of my cabin in the woods.

Kim has been working in dentistry for 26 years. She was an assistant for 23 years and decided to change her career to the administration side of dentistry. Kim lives in Waynesboro and enjoys spending time with her two daughters and four granddaughters.

My name is Dorothy and I am one of the dental assistants at Aesthetic Dentistry of Charlottesville. I’ve been blessed to have assisted Dr. Larry Hund for almost 20 years and for 11 of those years he and I have been proud to represent the “Oldies but Goodies” team for ADC. Happily, it turned out that our years of experience with the tried and true methods of dentistry blended beautifully with the highly successful progressive techniques of Aesthetic Dentistry of Charlottesville. We truly respect and appreciate every member of our talented dental family and we have learned much from each other.

When I’m not working hard to take care of the wonderful ADC patients, you’ll find me taking care of my little “critters” or tending the flowers and shrubs on my mini farm in Gordonsville.

I live in Scottsville, VA with my husband and beautiful daughter, Karley and have been with Aesthetic Dentistry of Charlottesville since 2007. I started thinking about joining the dental field when I was a teenager because of my own personal experience with extensive dental work as a child and I now enjoy being able to come to work every day and help others who are in need of dental care.

My life changed when I began my career as a dental assistant in 1985 with on-the-job training. I have taken 12 months of Virginia Apprenticeship at CATEC and am a former member of the American Dental Assistant Association. I am married to my husband, Gene, and live in Scottsville, Virginia.

I was born and raised in Charlottesville, VA. I am lucky enough to have met my best friend in kindergarten and in 2017 we got married. My husband was the person to introduce to the dental field because he was thinking about becoming an orthodontist. He ended up changing his mind but I loved the dental world.

I enjoy working with the ADC team and the new opportunities it brings. My husband and I enjoy going on walks with our dog Lilly and watching my nephews.
